Today I am finally revealing baby Madeleine’s nursery. When we found out we were having a girl; I couldn’t wait to start designing her nursery. I didn’t waste any time putting together a design board.
The Results:
The nursery has a French/traditional feel with a neutral palette. I wanted Madeleine’s room to be soothing, bright with a little frill and some touches of blush and gold accents throughout. The layering of textures and patterns creates the perfect mix of elegance, comfort, and simplicity.
My mother-in-law made this pillow with the leftover fabric I had from the curtains. I love how it pulls the curtain fabric into the crib.

I wanted the room to have a girly feel with frilly details. I came up with the idea of adding bows to the end of each curtain panel. It turned out exactly how I envisioned and is probably my favorite thing in the nursery.
I did a blog post on how to make Lined Curtain Panels! If you are interested in learning click HERE.
I found these simple floating shelves at Target and added a few neutral accessories to them. The white frames are all ready for baby Madeleine’s photos.
The antique dresser is a thrift store find and I painted it using Ellie Gray by Sherwin Williams. The doors painted Boothbay Gray by Benjamin Moore were inspired by one of my favorite bloggers.

The books are a collection of classics, Joseph’s, and from my shower. I’m sure we will spend a lot of time in that little corner reading. The white bookshelf I found at Potterybarn Kids.
I’ve listed a few details of Madeleine’s Nursery. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
