Hello, my name is Jennifer Mabery. Iโm so excited to welcome you into my home this holiday season. I live in Farmington, Missouri, with my husband and two children, in a home nestled next to the beautiful Crown Pointe Golf Course.
My family and I own and manage apartment communities, so creating a sense of home is at the core of what I do. Iโve always loved decorating and design, and Iโve loved Christmas for as long as I can remember. Bringing all of those passions together makes holiday decorating truly one of my favorite parts of the season.

My husband and I built our home ten years ago during the latest resurgence for Craftsman-style building. While I love the character and charm of a Craftsman exterior, an open-concept layout, a neutral color palette, and a bright, light-filled interior were priorities for me while building.
My interior dรฉcor style leans more contemporary. I prefer clean lines, neutral tones, plenty of natural light, and fresh contemporary lighting. I gravitate toward an uncluttered look with blended styles and textures that keep the space visually calm while still feeling warm and inviting.
Those same preferences guide my holiday decorating. The exterior of my home reflects a more traditional Christmas feel, while the interior leans more winter wonderland with hints of classic Christmas. Youโll find a blend of textures and neutrals with pops of seasonal color throughout.
And while thereโs plenty of festive sparkle, itโs important to me that my decorations also reflect the reason we celebrate the holiday. Youโll find subtle reminders of the true meaning of the season woven thoughtfully into my dรฉcor.

The classic holiday dรฉcor perfectly complements the Craftsman-style exterior of the home. Two oversized nutcrackers frame the front door, creating a cheerful and welcoming entrance, while greenery with small red accents decorates the planters and the lights.

A custom-painted Seasonโs Greetings sign adds a charming focal point in the front landscape.

The back patio even gets a seasonal touch with plaid pillows and a Christmas arrangement.

Dining Room
From the glass table to the chandelier, the dining room is one of my favorite rooms in the house. Each place setting features tree-patterned dishes and a plaid napkin layered over a red charger.
Greenery arranged down the center of the table, along with candles and a decorative deer, all come together to give this space a classic, elegant Christmas look.

Living Room
The living room features one of my favorite parts of the homeโthe double-sided, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. White fur stockings, personalized with red embroidery, hang from the mantle, with the red personalization adding a pop of seasonal color to the neutral, wintry palette.
On the console beneath my childrenโs portraits sits a manger scene. It adds a meaningful touch to the room and is one of my favorite holiday decorations.

Kitchen
The kitchen stays light and bright for the holidays. Simple greenery and Christmas figurines top the cabinets, while the coffee station transforms into a hot cocoa bar.
Festive greenery and red bows added to the barstools bring in just the right amount of color, while still keeping the space clean and neutral.

Master Bedroom
I keep the Master simple for the holidays. I switch to Christmas bedding, pillows, and add a cozy holiday throw.

Kids’ Rooms
Each kid has their own small tree thatโs decorated to match their room. They both have Christmas bedding and tabletop decorations that add holiday charm to their space.

Their shared bathroom is decorated with a playful nutcracker theme.

They even have Christmas toilet paper for a fun, festive touch.

Kidsโ Playhouse
The kidsโ playhouse, built by my husband, is tucked beneath the basement steps. It was an idea we had for a Christmas gift for them a few years ago, and it has become a fun space to decorate each year. Inside, youโll find a Grinch tree and Grinch dรฉcorโone of my kidsโ all-time Christmas favorites.

Theater Room
The theater room was also built by my husband. It has been a great addition for enjoying family movie nights and for hosting our annual Super Bowl party.

When the Christmas Lights Come On

Thank you for taking my Christmas home tour. I hope youโve enjoyed this look inside my
Contemporary-Craftsman. Best Wishes for a very Merry Christmas and an even Happier New
Year!

Jennifer’s Holiday Tradition
My kids are still young, so we are in the beginning stages of building our holiday traditions. One of my favorites so far is having their elf deliver matching Christmas pajamas each year. They wear them to bed on Christmas Eve, so that when they wake up Christmas morning theyโre perfectly coordinatedโit makes those Christmas morning photos extra adorable.
